Whenever brakes are applied vehicle fails to stop properly. Had taken vehicle to dealership and was informed that no problem existed with brakes in 1999. After moving to another state experienced the same problem. Took to another dealership, and informed consumer brakes were not grabbing like they should. Mechanic replaced pads and rotors in the rear of vehicle. Problem of non stopping still exists.

Brake pads and rotors are wearing excessively, front and rear rotors have rusted prematurely. Also, states when brakes are applied it is extremely difficult to stop, driver has to downshift to stop the vehicle.

Vehicle had a routine service about 3 months ago which cost about $400. When driving, for the past week or two, the brakes seemed to be making a pumping noise when depressed. The service center reported that both front and rear brake pads and rotors were completely worn and warped. I'm not sure how they could have missed this in the last service visit.

EA99008; brake pads make a grinding/squeaky noise, and vehicle experienced extended stopping distanc, E which may result in a crash. Dealer inspected vehicle 5 times and replaced the pads once. Dealer cannot determine the problem. Also, while driving at 60-70 mph, vehicle vibrated hard and pulled to the right, which may have resulted in occupant losing of vehicle control and having a crash.
