Car suddenly accelerated on residential street why making turn at approx 15 mph. Had to hit break while engine was still accelerating and this slowed car a little. Then while car was still moving threw it into park andshut off car.if any people or cars were in front of me would of had accident. After waiting a few minutes I restarted car and proceeded to my house which was only a block and a half away without incident. Car is now being checked out by local mechanic. Very scary.
