The tire in question, drivers side front, without notice completely deflated causing the vehicle to go out of control at approximately 50 mph, spin out, go through the median and into the opposite lane. On the inside of the tire (side closest to the engine), the sidewall of the tire had been completely removed from the tread. Note: Tire type is a zri which is not listed a choice in the database.

I recently purchased a Jaguar with fuzion hri 225/45/17 tires. I noticed that one of the tires had a six inch circumferential separation at the lettering on the inside sidewall. The tire still had 9/32 of 10/32 treadwear available. The tire was replaced with a new identical tire under manufactures warranty. I then noticed that the other front tire had an identical but shorter separation on the inside sidewall. The dealer was again contacted and advised of the defect. The dealer representative is contacting the manufacturer of fuzion tires to check for a developing trend. I myself googled the tire for other reported defects. I found several incidents of unexplained tire blowouts involving the fuzion hri that were reported to various websites. The fuzion tire is not among the choices on your website drop menus.

I bought my car in October 2008. About a month later I noticed the tire pressure was lost frequently. I took it back to the dealer and they changed all four tires for free, stating that the tire had some rotting caused by sitting to long. Not long after I noticed the same problem and bubbles started to form on both my from tires but the dealer said it was my fault for hitting potholes and curbs. I had to purchase to additional tires on my own. The remaining two that I got from the dealer when rotated to the front, again, formed bubbles. Again I had to replace them. I spoke to a technician and explained the problem that had ben occurring. I also stated I had been more careful about my driving and had not hit the curb. He told me that there were many complains about that tire brand and they damaged very easily.

The contact owns a 2004 Jaguar X-type. While test driving the vehicle at 45 mph, the contact and the sales person heard an unfamiliar noise. He purchased the vehicle on March 23, 2007. The dealer performed alignments, changed the tires on three occasions; however, the noise continued. The failures began immediately after the vehicle was purchased. The dealer has made several attempts to repair the vehicle per the warranty. During a recent diagnosis, the contact and dealer observed that the drive shaft was falling off. The dealer stated that the bushings failed; however, they only received three bushings and were unable to state when the others would be available. The vehicle is currently parked due to the safety risk involved. The failure mileage was 47,000. Updated 07/29/08. The consumer stated the rear bushings are bad. The vehicle also pulled to th right. : the contact stated upon approaching the vehicle, it was noticed there was a flat tire on the front passenger side. The tire appeared to have gone flat as a result of a blister on the sidewall. There is a NHTSA recall, # 05T024000, regarding the tires: Sidewall. The vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however neither the vehicle dealer nor the tire dealer would honor the recall. The model is an xjr. Updated 04/30/13
