This car has had issues since I picked it up. At first the engine would not start. Next there were issues with the batteries. Next my Navi left me somewhere in New Jersey and would not change the location after that. [They replaced the entire radio console which fixed the navi issue. In the process they broke the air-conditioning vent (which I haven't even brought to their attention).]
The issue I've had for the past year is that the "start/stop" feature does not work. Frankly, I couldn't care less about that [I'm not certain that it conserves any gas]. The bigger problem is that the check engine light goes on and stays lit. I have brought the car back to the dealer for servicing these issues and each time when they call me to say that the car is ready for pickup, I drive a block or two and, bingo, the lights go on again! I've had the car in for servicing this issue 3 or 4 times. Same story each time.
Thankfully my lease is coming to an end. I look forward to ditching it with the dealer. Not sure if I'll ever lease another Jeep. I had my eyes set on the Grand Cherokee, but after this ongoing experience, I think I'll move on to something with a better rating. Not surprised that Consumer Reports almost always has Jeep with the worst ratings. I really like the car, but a non-fixable issue is extremely disconcerting. Thanks Jeep.
