Vehicle had 47,000 miles. Engine began running a little rough. Brought vehicle to dealer service center. Upon examination of engine, technician noted that two spark plug wires had "arched against the valve block. The wires and plugs were damaged by the arching against the valve block and they had to be replaced. Designed location placement and quality of spark plug wires should not be such that arching against the valve block may occur. This is an unsafe design and / or mechanical / structural defect and it should be remedied post haste.
