Land Rover 2001 Discovery II... I have illumination of hill descent control, ABS, traction control dash warning lights... caused by a malfunctioning sensor or modulator...dealers don't even know what it is. Web search shows this to be a common problem with this vehicle, with a very costly expense to repair and dealers are replacing modulators at a $2000 plus cost and the problem doesn't go away! I have loss of traction control, anti-lock brakes still work...don't know about hill descent control. No consequences yet, no repairs yet...hope there will be a recall...can't afford to have vehicle repaired and it's no longer under warranty.
