The contact owns a 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport. The contact stated that while the vehicle was at an independent mechanic for an oil change, the mechanic informed him that the brake pads were worn. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rear brake pads were worn due to wear and tear. The dealer replaced the rear brake pads; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and the dealer replaced all four brake pads and rotors due to the outer pad wear. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,617.
