The contact owned a 2011 Land Rover LR2. While driving approximately 35 mph, another vehicle crashed into the front of the contact's vehicle. As a result, the air bag deployed, but did not inflate. The contact and the front passenger hit the windshield and sustained injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,000. Update 01/15/16 MA updated 03/22/18
