After approximately one month of operation, I noticed that the driver's side rear view mirror vibrated constantly making it very difficult to view traffic to the left side of the driver. The sensation is similar to focusing on an object while being tossed to and fro. I have made many requests to the dealer to have the situation repaired to no avail. I am now in the process of filing a complaint through the states lemon law statute. Several customers have complained about the mirror and none have received any assistance. I have received conflicting responses from technical and engineering professionals associated with Land Rover. These responses include mechanical defects, just my personal problem, and engineering design defect.
Brake/fog lamp assembly (rear tailgate mount) leaks water into the reflective lens area, creating safety hazard. Driver's door mirror, previously replaced for same defect, vibrates when vehicle in motion, causing distraction and inability to view images to rear and side, especially at night with oncoming headlight glare. This problem is common among Range rovers and does not occur on right side (passenger ) door. Problem on previous vehicles: 1995-2000 models experienced by owner.
