Takata recall. The contact owns a 2009 Land Rover Range rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V015000 (air bags); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The contact called Land Rover Jaguar las vegas (5255 w sahara ave, las vegas, nv 89146; 702-579-0400) and was informed that the part for the repair was unavailable. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue/failure. The approximate failure mileage was 123,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
