2011 Range rover. Consumer writes in regards to takata airbag safety recall. The consumer stated the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time to complete the recall repair. Updated 10/24/2017
Takata recall. This recall has been for almost 1 year, and Land Rover has not done anything about it. I basically cannot drive with any passengers in the front seat.
The contact owns a 2011 Land Rover Range rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V356000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
Takata recall. My Range rover is a part of the airbag recall and I'm unable to trade-in the car while the recall is open. I need to be able to trade-in the car, as I'd like to purchase a new car.
