The contact owns a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle rolled about one hundred feet before it rolled onto a curb and stopped. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a corroded sunroof drain tube and faulty electrical components due to corrosion. The contact was informed that the sunroof drain tube and the electrical components needed to be replaced. The vehicle was being repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 91,798.
The vehicle is doing the exact behavior of technical bulletin N206nas1. The fuel gauage indicates low fuel and the low fuel warning lamp is illuminated although the fuel tank is known not to be empty. The engine will cut off unexpectedly while driving and it is considered unsafe. This is a known issue and the dealer refused to give the vehicle a service update without having the tech charge a large fee to plug in the car when its a known issue. Please advise.
The contact owned a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked in the driveway, there was an odor coming from the vehicle. The vehicle then exploded and caught on fire. The fire department came to the scene and extinguished the fire. The fire spread to the trees and front of the home. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The fire department mentioned that the origin of the fire was related to fuel and electrical malfunction starting at the fuel line. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 33,000.
When driving the vehicle, the fuel gauge came on, indicating the fuel level is low and illuminates the warning lamp, however the tank actually has more fuel (full tank of fuel).
