I have a 2008 Land Rover Range rover sport SC with Continental sportcontact tires 275/40zr. I have had three sidewall failures in three months. The latest was driving at 25 mph for a distance under one mile two tires disintegrated. One sidewall failed completely and the second collapsed and is also destroyed.
