The contact owns a 2010 Land Rover Range rover sport. The contact stated that the brake pedal would depress, nearly to the floor, before the brakes would engage. The failure occurred anytime the brakes were applied while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they were unable to diagnose the failure. The failure continued. The vehicle was then taken to another authorized dealer where the contact was informed that there was air within the braking system, causing the failure. The master cylinder was replaced and the air was released from the brake lines. The failure continued. The vehicle was in the process of being taken back to an authorized dealer to be examined. The failure mileage was 18,000. The VIN was unavailable.
