I put my key in the ignition, never turned key. Car started by itself with key in ignition on off, removed key and car kept running. Heard something explode under hood, smoke and fire under hood. Called fire department. Starter caught fire, caused new battery to be damaged completely dead. Needed new starter and battery quoted $820.00.
