Front end crash of my 2007 Lexus ES 350 with a Ford F-150. My car was totaled and the front 1/3 of my vehicle was damaged. There was no airbag deployment in my vehicle. Lexus tells me that the front sensors were not activated because I was in the stopping mode with the front end down and hit low on the passenger doors of the high profile truck. I have pictures and can provide. I find it disturbing that the airbags did not deploy given the extent of front end damage and I would hate to think that one has to hit the sensors just right to get the airbags to deploy. If not an outright mechanical failure, then certainly a design defect.

My wife was driving our 2007 Lexus ES 350 when another vehicle heading in the opposite direction lost control, crossed a median divide, got airborne, and hit the front driver's side quarter panel, hood, drivers door and drivers window. No air bags deployed - including side air bags which are installed on this vehicle. We have contacted Lexus regarding what we believe is a failure of the air bags to properly deploy but am currently receiving 'form' responses.

We bought a 2007 Lexus ES350. Whenever I would sit on the front passenger side, the front passenger airbag sensor would show on (I'm about 115 lbs.). during the July 4th weekend though, we noticed that the sensor was showing off while I was sitting on the front passenger side. We brought the car to the local Lexus dealer but we were just told that there is nothing wrong with it and that it is working as designed. I did some research and found out that thousands have already complained about the faulty airbag sensors.
