When the jerking first occurred I thought it was the drive axles, replaced the driverside axle and the problem wasn't fixed. I checked the internet for more information about this problem and other owners had similar issues with their transmission. Lexus supposes to stand for quality and they should recall these vehicles. My concern is a safety issue if the transmission locks-up during driving.

I used to love LEXUS cars...but after this transmission problem that seems to be common in the 06 GS300 I HATE LEXUS!!!! Dealer wants to replace the transmission, $4000. I read on line that OBD Code P2757. "P2757 Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Performance or Stuck Off " It is common on this cars, many times replacing the transmission doesn't solve the problem. Some other dealer suggested replacing the ECU $1400. But no warranties that will solve the issue. SO WHO KNOWS????? HELP PLEASE!!!!

I have a 2006 Lexus GS 300 that's having a transmission problem:

1. (2) bumps when stopping in low gear the first one is slight the second one is a noticible jerk.

2. Slight bump in when shifting to 3 gear!

Lexus wants to replace the transmission but I've seen a few complaints with the (almost) exact same issue so I'm begging any any all 2006 Lexus gs300 owners to call me at 661 380 0646. No I'm not replacing the epu or the solenoid cause it's a Lexus problem if I can find enough people with the same problem. CALL ME...Larry
