I own a 2008 Lexus LX570. I was in my driveway turning around and when I took my foot off of the gas pedal and on to the brake the car kept on accelerating. I put both feet on the brake and the car kept going forward until it rested on a large boulder. The damage to the car was only the front bumper since I was going very slowly at the time of the acceleration. I reported the problem to Lexus and they stated that they do not have any problems with the LX570 model. I have 20,000 miles on the car and this is the only time it has happened. There was nothing around the gas pedal that would have caused it to get stuck, so the problem had to be with the electronics.
