AC drain was clogged/malfunctioned which resulted in constant condensation in footwell. The problem persisted which resulted in black mold in the carpet and footwell insulation beneath the carpet. Lexus service advisers insisted the ac drainage line was clogged by a spiderweb but the picture they took didn-€™t show any spiderweb. After researching many Lexus forums, it seems like a common problem and many other people were given the same excuse of a spiderweb clogging the drainage line that also resulted in mold. Lexus doesn-€™t seem to want to take responsibility for the problem and rather blame a spider. They estimated $10,000 to replace the carpet and fix the problem. Other people on forums were also quoted $8,000-$15,000 as well.

The navigation system randomly marks places of interest while there is no input from the driver. This in effect cancels the navigation information causing distraction when relying on that system. It also -€œmarked-€ an address twenty miles from the destination and gave directions to that sight. Dealer cannot find cause and it has not been repaired.
