i love my car, but i'm having problems. The car won't stay started on hot days. It starts, then on its way to idle dies. Only when its its really hot outside. in the mornings no problem. it starts right up and stays on. nights...same thing, runs great, winter months.... perfect. Last summer I had this same problem and i replaced the radiator, starter, alternator, and battery. The battery was a big one with 835cca, all the other parts were Lexus parts from the Lexus dealer. They didn't fix the problem. As an experiment I hosed down the hood for a minute before starting the car and it started beautifully. Unfortunately I don't have a hose available once i leave the house. I am stuck in a hot car for 20 minutes or so starting the car letting it die over and over until it stays started. Most days it takes about 20 tries. can someone help me determine the problem.
