Low speed crash. Driver was pulling into parking space and car accelerated hard up over the curb and into a large hedge. The hedge was old with thick internal branches, and it broke the front air deflector, plastic front upper trim and bend the hood in the centre. The lower air dam was broken when it went over the curb.

The car is still drivable and we are having the front body repaired. I looked up this issue on line and saw that it has happened before, infrequently. Usually the driver is blamed, loose footwear or loose floor mats. Not the case here. I also disabled the SCBS (Smart City Braking System) based on other forum posts I saw.

2 weeks later, the same thing happened. Low speed, in parking lot, sudden hard acceleration when parking.

Taking it to the dealer for diagnostics in 2 days.
