2007 Mazda 5 both sliding doors would not latch when closed. The consumer stated after removing the battery cable for one minute with the hopes of resetting the electrical system controlling the locks latching mechanism, he was finally able to get the left drivers side sliding door to latch. The right side had to be held in place by the passenger in the rear seat. The consumer stated once he reached his destination, both doors started to function properly.
