Battery dies if car is not run often, loses 25 % of its power in one week. Mazda dealer Redlands CA. says this is normal suggest disconnecting battery between uses.
Update from Oct 9, 2013: dealer said that electronics were discharging the battery, I don't know if this is true but their solution did work. They recommended temporarily removing one certain 15 amp fuse (while the car is not being driven for an extended period of time) to alleviate the problem. I did and now the battery will discharge down to 85% capacity and stay there.
