It started with a ticking noise that would eventually go away about 5 minites after the van was started. I believe the problem is with the lifters sticking but a mechanic told me that even if you were to fix it it would eventually happen again even with the new lifters. Pretty embarassing to drive like that when your car sounds like a ticking bomb on wheels. The noise would get faster and louder as you would excellerate. Mechanic told me that it was ok to drive like that but just a little annoying. I tried changing the oil more frequently and then I added some sea foam oil additive which helped. The van made it to 180,000 km and then the timing belt broke and I parted it out.
