Vehicle: 2000 Mazda MPV LX VIN: [xxx] mileage at incident: 24,816 I am the original owner of this vehicle, purchased in August, 1999 my wife was backing the van out of our garage, and when she placed he foot on the brake pedal to slow her backing, a snapping noise occurred and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. Complete loss of braking ability. Luckily no crash or injuries involved. I had the vehicle repaired at a local monroe muffler brake shop (cost $343). The master cylinder had failed... completely. Again, complete failure of the hydraulic braking system. Updated 07/16/2012
