My drivers power window on my 2000 Mazda MPV died for no reason. I have spoken with several others, who said the same happened to them. After calling several salvage yards for a used motor, I was told they have many passenger motors but not one drivers. Is this a flaw in the van? with new parts this is going to be a very costly repair. Window motors on a six year old car should not just die for no reason.

The manual sliding door contained a vertical line of approximately 10 magnets. A metal bracelet came in contact with the magnets which caused burns to the child's hand. In less than a month, the motor and regulator on the driver side window had blown.
