The gas pedal gets stuck when it is humid or rainy outside. You will be drive at 80 Kim's an hours and then the gas pedal gets stuck. Mazda did have a recall on some Mazda Tribute but not the 2008. Not sure why when it is happening .
DO NOT BUY MAZDA. They don't stand behind their product. I called to complain about it and they don't care.
This is very dangerous because if you are on the highway travelling at high speed and your gas pedal gets stuck, you for from 100 Kms an hour to zero quickly. Someone can get killed. Very serious situation that Mazda again chooses to ignore. They take no responsibility what so ever.
