Own it for a little over a year. Enter the frwy in the morning. No big trucks around me, no homes close to the freeway. Luckily I had closed the screen earlier. Heard what sounded like a gun shot blast. I thought that is was a tire but mine were new, about 2 minutes later I heard what sounded like glass crackling. I looked up and the glass was flying all about and then I heard the screen flapping.
I continued driving knowing that I couldn't do anything at that point. I drove straight to the dealer Left it there and called Mercedes Corporate, Customer Service and opened a claim. Waiting to hear back.
FYI-The shards of glass that was flying about ruined my paint job by chipping the paint where the glass pieces were hitting the paint.
