Takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C180. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 18V043000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The dealer (Mercedes-Benz of sacramento, 888-479-0451) was called and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer and the contact called the dealer and confirmed the information. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was not available.
