at 60,000 KM check engine light came on, the balance shaft had worn and required replacing. the entire engine and transmission must be removed as the balance shaft is at the rear of the engine. Total cost was $6000. out of warranty.
After much complaining and thretening MB Canada agreed to pay 50% of the cost, out of pocket expense was just under $3000
