Takata inflators: They sent me a letter back in May 2016 and in August 2016 stating that both driver and passenger side airbags are defecting. There still has been no resolution regarding this and according to takata, if the airbags deploy or if they do not could result in serious injury or death. I am driving my Mercedes around and scared to death that they may or may not ploy and could kill my family or I. SRS control unit: May corrode and cause control unit malfunction. This is still not resolved on my vehicle and the letter was sent out in March 2016.

I bought my Mercedes Benz and notice that my tail light and the light on the front of the car will turn on by itself while my car was parked in the morning my car battery will be dead needing a charge. I had a recall from Mercedes Benz dealer and I took the car to the dealership and supposedly they fix it and the car had gotten worse. It had burned the harnesses and fog harness, while I was driving the car was acting like shutting off the radio and ac will start shutting off and turning on at the same time while I was on the highway on my way home from work. Right now my car only have working the high beam. I been getting a lot of recalls for this car but really it seems like I'm loosing my time.

Right after the manufactures warranty ended, the left front SRS malfunction light came on in my vehicle, accompanied by the air bag light. I did research and found that there are several people who suffer from this malfunction. The light does not go off and the air bag system will not deploy in case of an accident. This is a major issue that is incredibly expensive to fix (approx. Costs are over $1000 at my dealership) and since it has been a recurring defect in the vehicle year after year, it needs to be fixed by Mercedes at no cost to myself and other Mercedes owners.
