The contact owns a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300. The vehicle was equipped with capitol sport uhp (na) tires, size 245/40ri7 (na), model: F40247034. While operating the vehicle, the tire pressure monitoring system sensor remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the failure was caused by multible cracks located on the outer wall of the front passenger and driver side tires that allowed air to leak out. The failures were not remedied. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The VIN and vehicle failure mileage were unknown. The tire failure mileage was 18,000.
