By the time I brought the car into the dealer I was at 52,500 miles. I have a CPO extended warranty. I was told by my independent mechanic that there was a bad run of transmissions for this car and he's seen the problem before. The service tech at the dealer said he's never heard of this being a problem. The transmission is being replaced under warranty. My wife and I drive the car normally and it's amazing that the tranny died in such a short time.
