The contact then took the vehicle to the dealer where a diagnostic test was performed, and the mechanic confirmed the failure. The vehicle remained in the dealer possession. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided the contact a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.
