I always thought that Technology is in place to help our lives become easier and more convenient, but this problem adds to another reason why a car may not be able to drive.

Traditionally it's just the Motor, Gearbox, fuel injection which could be the things that may not cause the car to drive. Now in my much loved SUV, it's one of many speed sensors, or ABS sensors that could fail at any given moment and leave me stranded, potentially in a very vulnerable position which can put my life or others at risk.

The first time this happened to me I was shocked, I was driving out of a carpark after grocery shopping and then a sensor error appeared on the screen, then the car refused to move, causing cars behind me to pile up as I remained helpless in between the exit and the main road. Embarrassed, I was. Someone yelled out , "Ya hand break mate, you forgot to take your handbrake off you idiot".

That's when I lodged my first complaint to Mercedes Benz about this issue.
