Last June my cougar started making a noise- when I first start driving, backing up or turning the wheel , there is a cracking noise that sounds like its coming from the front. I live 6 hours away from the Ford dealership - when i took it there in August, they said they couldn't hear this noise, but that they checked everything and it wasn't a safety issue. One year later it's still doing it and driving me crazy! What do you think it is and how much to fix it? Do you think it's a safety issue? Thankyou!!!
