Vehicle only has about 66,000 miles on it. It has been well taken care and ran fine until vehicle cut out of speed control mode. Then the transmission would disengage while driving. There was no apparent special circumstances (cold weather/cold transmission?). Took it to the dealer who said the transmission was bad.....NO parts and NO replacement available!!!!!!

This is ridiculous! Even if I had to pay $4500 to repair it, it would cheaper than a new car and since everything was performing well (still getting close to 30MPG). Of course that’s assuming that the company (Ford) would stand behind the repair! Ford’s answer was “sorry, not our problem”! What a way to stand behind your product!
