The contact owns a 2011 Mercury Milan. While driving approximately 20 mph, the contact was alerted by another motorist that the rear driver side brake light failed to illuminate. The independent mechanic diagnosed that the rear driver side tail light assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 37,000.
