I had this car for around 5 years ago. My transmission is not idling right - it sound a race car. Then last week I drove the car (Saturday 11/9/19). Drove car with no problems and didn't drive it Sunday. Then as soon as I try to start it up Monday morning, it wouldn't even start up period - no turn or crank, just nothing. I was thinking it just need a jump - but still nothing. I did it with a battery charger - still nothing. Thinking it could be a starter, I replaced that and still nothing.

Ignition fuse was blown so I replace the and still nothing. So I bought an ignition switch in my steering column - with still no change. So now I had to pay to get a push start to start my car. Now my engine light comes on and stays on and my thread control lights on and my tool light stay on (all this stuff never happened before). Transmission jerks when changing gears. It's messing up my whole car from one problem. I need know what is going on and is there are recalls for my 2007 Mercury Montego. I have seen a lot of complaints on 2007 Mercury Montego and other years too. Not a happy camper. You'll need to fixed the problems.
