High pressure fuel pump failure may lead to loss in power, furthering the potential for a wreck. Engine enters "limp home" mode, which reduces power considerably and makes acceleration much slower than normal. Check engine light comes on, several obd-II diagnostics codes appear. Mini in Ft Myers Florida fixed

but noe the said that the car has another problem, why they are selling cars with all those problems????????

Fuel pump issue on my 2011 model has happened to me twice in less than 90 days. It is a pain in the ass!!!! Car losses power to the point of it won't get out of it's on way. The engine code that comes up gives too many choices, and the dealer has to guess at too many fix options. So days or weeks later you end up with the same problem. Unfortunately my Dealer is 100 miles away. If the car runs really bad you have a long drive or an expensive tow. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BACK UP RIDE, DON'T BY A MINI!!!!!!!
