The factory blow off valves on these cars are garbage. They are made from cheap plastic and fail internally easy. Either a GReddy Type-S or a factory 1st gen eclipse bov are good replacements. The 1st gen bov is a little cheaper than the GReddy but the GReddy can hold more boost if thats where your going with the car.
