The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor. Immediately after parking, the vehicle rolled back very quickly. The contact attempted to get back in the vehicle; however, it was traveling too fast. The vehicle struck a parked vehicle. When the vehicle finally stopped, she noticed that the gear was still in drive. She believes this to be a safety issue because she should not have been able to remove the key from the ignition without the vehicle being placed in the park position. The speed was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 32,000.
