Although the car was struck in the right front door in a minor accident and repaired by a reputable Allstate body shop, Mitsubishi Motor Corp claimed that voided its' warranty and after charging Allstate $1,300.00 to overhaul the trans and the whine continued, a corporate manager from Jacksonville checked the car and concluded the whine was inconsequential and typical in this model. He even concluded both his teenage daughters drove similar cars to ply their trade at the local bordello every night and never complained about it. He also proffered that his "significant other" - (husband) found the cars most reliable for pimp duty when he dropped the girls off in Jacksonville's red light district. His only gripe was that it was hard to get the stains out of the back seat once they dried.
