Good day

I drive a Mitsubishi Lancer 2l 2010 model which is the 4B11 engine. I have to say that I am most disappointed with Mitsubishi. I at first thought the world of these cars, but now I feel like they are the worst cars to ever buy and I don't ever want to drive one again.

In 2017, my Lancer got a bearing knock because the car burnt through oil dramatically (something that is apparently very common on these cars). Long story short, I had to replace my engine. What a mission it was to get the parts and engine for this specific car it was. I looked around for 5 months straight for an engine and found a second hand engine which I bought and replaced (the agents charged me 100k for a new engine - the price of a brand new car).

Fast forward 3 years, it's 2020 and guess what, I get another bearing knock on this engine. The oil pump wasn't distributing oil to the engine and no warning lights came on whatsoever, and now this engine also need to be replaced. But guess what, finding an engine for this car is super scares and very costly. Now I'm stuck for the second time in 3 years with a car that needs an engine. Very unreliable in today's life. Buying a Toyota is probably much better and cheaper in the long run. Even if their oil pumps seize, the engine would shut down, but it will always be protected.

So my Question to Mitsubishi is, what do I do with a car that I cannot buy an engine for at reasonable prices and for a manufacturer that boast about how great their engines are? This is not only poor workmanship, but also no value for money and not reliable. I am disappointed in my buy and will never buy Mitsubishi again.
