Is there a wind standard for vehicles on highways? I know whenever there is wind on interstate no matter what strength this vehicle struggles through it. Not sure body is designed properly for highway where there is always wind. I'm having hard time keeping control of it and keeping from accident since I'm blown easily away. Also it shouldn't matter whether windows or down or not. Car should be designed to be able to handle all conditions. I know wind is something you have to deal with but this vehicle seems very tough to handle in it. I was driving 1998 Ford Taurus and hit wind but didn't have this much difficulty driving in wind. I was wondering if there was a wind safety standard on vehicles and if not should there be one. I know I put todays date on when it happened but have experienced this wind danger on many dates since having vehicle in a month and a half.

This car was bought on 05/03/2015. Between 05/07/2015 and 05/29/2015 I noticed small brown spots appear along the paint's surface of the vehicle (hood, roof, between doors). Although the spots can be removed with wax and polish process, the spots re-appear within days. Under the suspicion for corrosion, I inspected the vehicle thoroughly, noticing that the mechanical parts below the car were excessively corroded. The dealership and a Mitsubishi inspector considered these conditions to be normal. The car was bought new. Having at this moment less than 500 miles of use, I considered the corrosion level to be not typical. The dealership or service center did not respond for the corroded parts or paint. Safety concern is the risk of a mechanical component premature failure due to corrosion.
