Tire has dry rot near hub cap, it has very little wear on tread.I was told this will cause a blowout and I should buy new tires.these are expensive tires that should have many miles left.does Michelin offer an exchange for this defect?all four tires show this defect.( dot number: Tire size: P235/75R15 )

Traveling at 60mph heard a screeching noise and the brakes started going down to the floor and lost control of the vehicle. Upon regaining control, the vehicle died. Then was able to coast the vehicle out of traffic onto the shoulder. The selector lever was in reverse.
