wow this is a crappy car, thought it was just mine. has anyone out there had their Alero's transmission take too long to get in gear and then sometimes tires skip and the car jumps? had the tranny fluid checked yesterday but they said it was ok, along with that problem our security light comes on when it wants to and has left us stranded 3 times. check engine soon, abs, anti-lock, and another engine light stays on all the time and has for about 2 years.

took it to the dealer and they say it is the hub assembly. do u think that it is what the problem is with the hub assembly and with the tranny could it all be with the hub? oh and also when u take it out of drive it makes a clanking noise, please help!!!
