Isn't there a recall for the peeling of the body paint on a 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora.

(reported on)

Aurora V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

The paint started cracking about 36,000 miles. Now it is peeling really bad. Had to replace the alternator about 80,000 miles almost burnt the engine because it did not have enough volts to turn the cooling fans. Replaced one of the tanks in the radiator. Have an electrical problem....door locks and unlocks continuously (seems to happen mostly when it rains or is damp)

The car still rides like a dream though!!
