i bought the car from a friend of mine that needed to get it out of pawn...so i paid the amount that was owed.c368 dollars.fcirst off ,it squeals from the area of the belt, chad that replaced ,about a month later i had a person look under the hood from Orially's and was told i needed to get the crank looked at as there appeared to be a band or cylinder bulging out..i took it to the mechanic that had been working on the car when my friend owned it and he said it was going to have to be fixed quick..there was a crank seal coming out and had to be replaced ,so 250 dollars later ,no squeal ,ran great ,then it started to have the radiator light come on and stay on. then it started to over heat, and leak fluid from the fill tank...i replaced the cap,and it quit leaking, but the light stayed on...i took it back to the mechanic and was told it was a head gasket,i asked another mechanic ,he said it was a manifold gasket,so i don't know who to believe..either way i was looking at several hundred dollars in work...oh the car was sitting in a field for a year or two before my friend was given the car from their church, and the guy that owned it before it was given ,had hit a tree with the left rear passenger door,so that window don't work.course only paying 368 dollars for it helps as far as p p taxes goes.it has been a good little car for being used. we will never get a perfect car ,when you get one used..we have had this car going on 3 years now....and i still don't have the overheating fixed yet as we are disabled ,so we are on a fixed income..but there is my story ,and if it sounds like what you have ,just be glad you have something to drive,as the other option is walking...lol...bye for now.
