the first time -- im was at work decided to get gas on my break. filled up the car. went to start it - absolutely nothing! no lights came on, no turn over, pressed the car alarm button, no response, kicked the stupid car and nothing. i check the battery posts to make sure they were on because i;ve had this problem with another car and they're on fine. so i sit in the drivers seat to call my boss and the stupid car alarm goes off so i try to start the car and it works. what the hell? second time -- im on the highway doing 90 (yes i drive fast) and the car goes into this schizophrenic rage! the interior lights start flashing, the numbers on the mileage start changing like crazy, the headlights are flashing, the car is hesitating and spazing out. other drivers must have thought i was crazy the way i was panicking. so it does this for like 6 more minutes til i get home. then it dies as soon as i get halfway into my parking spot. and like before it wont start, no car alarm, nothing, then an hour later the car alarm goes off and the car starts by itself (i have remote start with the alarm) and works fine. next day i take it to midas and they tell me the battery posts were loose and corroded. total cost to fix: $40
